Presentation
The Etrier Picotin Chaleonnais is an association law 1901 which offers leisure riding according to the needs of municipalities in Loire-Atlantic (44)and Vendee (85), France.
All our members are volunteers and it is not necessary to know how to ride to join the association, which counts about 50 members today.
All our horses are Norman Cob draft horses, most of them are brood mares.
The owners put their horses at the association and at riders' disposal so that those latters can train for shows on grounds which belong to the municipality.
There are two categories of riders:
-The beginners are novice-riders spread in different stables where titulars are made responsible for teaching the basis of riding.
-The titulars are experienced riders who are advancing during the shows.
Location
We are situated in Saint-Hilaire-de-Chaléons, a nice small village between Nantes and Pornic, Loire-Atlantic (France).
